the hopes of eventually reaching
Cape Town.

Excerpt from the Christmas diary: "25.12.07 - Christmas Day. We arranged to go to the Valley of the Kings, the Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, and had a very nice day seeing the sites. "
