In April 2003 we embarked upon a two-year trans-world expedition in our custom-built 6x6 Land-Rover called Nyathi - Michael and Sandy

Excerpt from the diary: "The landscape changed from boreal forest to wet tundra. From a distance it looks quite barren and stark but on closer inspection you can see that there is so much variety in the vegetation and it is very colourful. "
