Across-then-up

I am driving across North Africa, the Middle East, Asia. Then up through South and Central America.

I am currently on a solo overland expedition which will initially cross North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. If all goes well, I will then sail across the South Pacific, ship the car to Chile and drive up through South and Central America to the United States. I left at the beginning of 2009 and should arrive in LA in the middle of 2011.
