Cape to Cairo & Beyond

An overland trip starting in Cape Town, through to Cairo and then onto Europe via Sicily, Italy, France and finally UK.

A dream of ours which has now become a reality! We plan to leave Cape Town on 31 October 2009 and arrive in London on 2 April 2010. We plan to travel through Namibia, touch on Northern Botswana, Zamibia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. Then a ferry across to Sicily, up the Italian coast, across the Italian and French Rivieras, through to Paris, then London. We then plan to visit family and friends in the UK and then either the ship the Beast home from the UK or Portugal.

We would be keen to meet fellow overlanders who could be in the same area at the same time as us. So please keep an eye on our progress and get in touch with us if you are nearby.
