Drive or fly back from South Africa to UK? For us having fallen in love with the African continent it was not a difficult decision.

We hope to record our journey through Africa and into Europe using this website. None of us are great journalists or webmasters, but we aim to provide a candid view of the places we visit and our experiences which we hope you will find interesting and of use for fellow Overlanders.

We left, as planned, albeit a little late on Saturday 27 June - just as a pride of Lions Supporters invaded Pretoria ... so here we go ...
