London, via Edinburgh, to Cape Town down the West Coast of Africa in a Land Rover.

This journey will be the realization of a childhood dream, following in the footsteps of my Scottish father who travelled from Edinburgh to Cape Town in 1969.

Our journey will take us down the west coast through French-speaking Africa to Namibia. From here we plan to head east through southern Africa and then down the east coast of South Africa to Cape Town. We will be traveling through 30 countries and expect to spend 8 months on the road covering a distance of approximately 25,000 miles.
