John and Ana

We are a couple of young architects, having unplugged our careers and embarked on a one in a lifetime adventure around the world. 9 months and over 32000 km on our motorbike later, we have crossed 20 countries, some of which rank amongst the most dangerous in the world, but where we always met nothing but hospitable and genuinely kind people. We have completed the west and central Africa route and we are currently exploring the South-African subcontinent.

Our blog is our voice to those who want to follow us vicariously or seek inspiration for their own travels. We post regularly updated info about border crossings and visas, but we tend to focus on local gastronomy and wildlife, having volunteered and visited already some of the most notable conservation and captivity breeding projects on the continent. Our blog is written in both Romanian and English with loads of photos showcasing our love for nature and different people.
