African summer

Frank, Juanita and Vanessa

After a year of preparation we finally started our adventure through Southern and East Africa. We are a couple in our thirties and our daughter is 3 years old. There was no better time to do this with the world economy, work and life and before our daughter starts school in September.

We spent a year preparing for our trip. We are Frank (age 33), my wife Juanita (age 33) and our daughter Vanessa (age 3). We've always wanted to travel in Africa and with the world economy hitting a downturn we thought now was a good time to take some time out and go on that gap year we never took. Also, our daughter starts school in September so we thought if we don't do it now we will never do it. So we are travelling through Southern and East Africa in our Disco 2 (no name, as we can't agree on a name and seem to call it Landy most of the time).
