Diary extract: "If one consistently defers their dreams, hopes and aspirations into the future, inevitably time runs out, and what started as a dream will end as just that and therefore I have decided (with my family’s consent) to jump off the treadmill of Daily Grind and swap it out for a motorbike for 8 weeks in order to fulfill one of my dreams and on the 30th of June 2010, my Brother in Law, Dale Edwards and I will be leaving Cape Town for a 56 day, 12,745km trip to Cairo."
