Expedition Trip Details
Bonny and Mike set out from London in Aug 2007 for an overland trip from London to Cape Town and back. We went down the west coast (well as far as Ghana) and then from Cape Town up the East Coast back to London.
Excerpt from the diary: "Back on the beach but our first inland one. Lake Malawi is serenely beautiful. We spent a few days chilling and doing a few things around the car. We also hired a canoe and paddled around Thumbi Island stopping every now and again to swim and snorkel. Snorkelling in fresh water is strange as there is no coral but there are huge numbers of fish. We enjoyed the kayaking so much that we decided to treat ourselves to two nights on one of the islands Domwe with Kayak Africa"
