The idea of driving home only came about as a flippant response to Richard, who was beginning to worry about the prospect of selling Kylie when we left � it really wasn�t intended to be taken seriously! However, once the seed was planted, neither of us could stop thinking about it, and we began to investigate how we could drive back. We looked at going through Asia, but felt that this was more than we wanted to take on. However, as we re-looked at the map and realised that Africa was another way home, both our eyes lit up and we knew straightaway that this would be the adventure we�re looking for.


Many will think we�re mad, and i guess you have to be a little bit, but if we don�t do it now, we never will. We don�t want to spend a lifetime behind a desk, in the hope we can experience it all when we�re retired � we want a lifetime of adventures, starting now - life is too short to wait.
